Biomedical Research Student

What I liked

I really enjoyed conducting research on my own, and my research professor was extremely helpful in explaining the different research methods to me.

What I wish was different

I personally wished there were more explicit expectations both for the research student and the professor, because it wasn't always clear what was expected of me.

Advice

None of the research projects were the same, which was both a good and a bad thing. Good, because everyone had different projects that matched each student's interest. Bad, because some students worked late in really intense labs, while others came into lab for only a couple of hours a day.
