I enjoyed getting experience working in a research setting.
What I wish was different
The people I worked with could have been better. Communication was definitely lacking among the lab team, which made things difficult.
Advice
Interning does not have to be something you think will lead to a job later on. Interning is really just a way to gain experience, develop skills, and get a feel for careers you might be interested in.
