What I liked

Incredible summer experience! This is the best banking experience for those who 1) want to take ownership of large parts of the deal process and 2) value mentorship and working directly with Partners/senior bankers. With such lean deal teams, learning and exposure to management is guaranteed. What really stands out about DBO, though, is that everyone at the firm (Partners included!) genuinely cares about getting to know you as a person outside of your work and is invested in your success and growth. The people and the relationships I was able to develop over just 10 weeks is the reason I'm going back!

What I liked

Best culture imaginable for Investment Banking, true care from and interaction with senior leaders, interesting work on the forefront of the tech industry. Hours were manageable, especially relative to most other banks, and pay was above Street all-in for full-time.
