This isn't a job that is emotionally draining like most, I enjoyed coming to work and talking with her everyday. Her energy everyday, even on her hardest days, was easily the best part. This was an amazing job that I wasn't expecting but has changed me as a person for life. ”

“This position is so rewarding! What I love most about this job is the relationships you create while working. Especially with Deborah! Some of us caregiver call her our "Menomonie mom", which she loves. The things you do for Deborah is fun and exciding. Everyday is different and I love that about working with her. You learn things that you would never think would be beneficial, but everything I have learned through my years here have been so helpful. Especially if you plan on going into anything related to this field of interest. Also the knowledge you gain through working with Deborah will go far, you may be able to work with her nurse, occupational therapist, physical therapist, or doctor. Also, if you are a college student - this position is super flexible and Deborah is always willing to move shift around if possible. ”
