I liked the experience of working with a professional baseball organization. The work was challenging at first but I started to become a pro on how to run the rides and be customer friendly. I got to work several special events at Comerica Park such as a Def Leppard and Journey. As a person who thoroughly enjoys talking baseball and getting other's opinions this was a great place to get these conversations with coworkers.
What I wish was different
The pay was low, but this is to be expected in the sports industry for an hourly and not salaried position. I also think that the parking for employees should be free and not $2 unless you park far. You will generally work 4-6 hours on game days.
Advice
I would say that this is a good summer job for a college student but be prepared to have another part time position to help with your expenses.
