What I wish was different
Dierbergs is a good job for students and retirees. However, you will probably not earn a livable wage unless you're full-time. Hours are tight unless you work at one of the wealthier/bigger stores and you will lose a lot each week to the union and taxes, and health insurance if you have it. (Example: I worked 5 hours one week because I was gone for a few days; I earned $50, but brought home like $17.) If that's a dealbreaker for you, don't apply unless you can get a full-time/corporate/assistant management position.
