Dietz & Watson, Inc.

About Dietz & Watson, Inc.

When Gottlieb Dietz founded our company in 1939, he set out to produce the tastiest deli meats in the Philadelphia area. Today, we are one of the largest preparers of premium deli meats and artisan cheeses, offering more than 400 products at the finest supermarkets and neighborhood delis throughout the United States and the world. But we may be most proud of what hasn’t changed: after 80 years, Dietz & Watson is still a family owned and operated business, now in its fourth generation. We are still pioneers and innovators, constantly pursuing even more healthy recipes to suit a wide range of dietary needs. Most of all, we are still passionate about what we do best—providing fresh and delicious deli products, from our family to yours.

From the start, we have been committed to providing products that are both good and good for you. We use only the highest quality hand-trimmed, lean beef, ham, turkey and chicken breasts. We never use artificial colors, flavors, fillers, extenders or MSG. In 1996, we started the Dedicated To Your Healthier Lifestyle® program—a collection of more than 60 delicious deli meats that exceed USDA, FDA and health organization standards for healthy eating. We think it’s important to be a good and responsible neighbor. This includes ensuring the humane treatment of animals, and setting a high bar for sustainability and conservation. It also means supporting local causes such as police and firefighter organizations, and the Battleship New Jersey Museum. We work closely with charities like Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, and many youth-oriented organizations. Finally, we are proud to support our brave servicemen and women through the USO and the Hometown Heroes program.

Dietz and Watson is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We also have facilities
in Baltimore, Maryland; and Corfu, New York.
