Consider the practical aspects of any role, this is particularly salient when working directly with clients in residential settings. There is likely to be basic cleaning duties, the need to direct clients to follow house rules, and lots of paperwork involved in your duties. It can be tough at first to balance these duties with the clinical aspects of your role, but if you enjoy working directly with clients in a residential setting it is worth it.
