They threw me into the mix right away I didn't have to start off with basic tickets and troubleshooting. I was involved from day one. The flexibility in my hours is great, if I can't come in one day I can always make it up when I have time available.
What I wish was different
Communication is not my boss's strong suit but he knows what he's on about when you have questions.
Advice
Working for a smaller company as an intern has some great benefits, like your Boss knows you by name on day one you only really have 1 boss as well and they are approachable. There is a community like atmosphere to the work environment that you don't get if you work in a bigger company.
