At ECOSLO, I most enjoyed gaining hands on experience in my field of interest. Prior to my internship, I was unsure of what kind of experience I wanted outside of school. Upon completing it, I am now able to look back on this intersnhip as a great accomplishment that allowed me to gain new skills, more connections and a newfound pathway. I also enjoyed being able to connect with my supervisor and ask any and all questions I had about the industry and environmental nonprofit world. Overall, I gained exceptional event planning and program management skills that I can continue to build on as a professional.
What I wish was different
Honestly, I wish it had been longer. I greatly enjoyed my time at ECOSLO and wish I could continue developing the skills and connections I made through my internship.
