It was a really nice work environment, and the projects were really fun to work on.
What I wish was different
I wish I had done more of my own research into cybersecurity going in.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand your task, or if you are stuck. Your supervisor is more concerned with helping you learn what you need to complete your task than reprimanding you for not knowing something. Doing your own research that is applicable to your task and asking questions the next day also looks really good.

Quality Assurance Department Worker
May - July 2017 • Philadelphia, PA
What I liked
I was able to meet some high profile people that worked at the Philadelphia Naval Yard including the Captain of the Naval Yard who gave me some unique perspectives on the Navy Career that I am pursuing as an NROTC student.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been placed in a different department. The Quality Assurance Department has nothing to do with actual engineering.
Advice
Apply to an NREIP location that guarantees an engineering position. My position consisted entirely of editing Word Documents. Other positions at the Philadelphia Navy Yard did involve engineering but, half of them were engineering and half were logistics.
