What I liked

I really liked how friendly the work environment was. As soon as I started, the people there treated me as if I had been working there for years and were very helpful in getting me started.

What I wish was different

Towards the end of my internship, I had started to get into a rhythm of how to do things around the office. I look back and wish that I was like this from the beginning instead of trying to find my way. It would have made things seem less daunting in the beginning of my time at Eisai. Other than that, I wouldn't change much about my experience.

Advice

Not everything is what you imagine it will be. When I first started at Eisai, I thought that everyone would be very serious and that they wouldn't have time to show me what I needed to do and how to do it. However, I found that everyone was very kind and patient when it came to me getting accustomed to working at Eisai. So basically, don't let your preconceived notions runaway with what you think something will be like.
