Working at Elder Research gave me the opportunity to spread my wings and develop software that contributes to the world in a way that I can be proud of. One of the projects I worked on was predictive maintenance for hydro-electric generators based on sensor data, and I got to contribute a non-insignificant amount to the infrastructure that brings the trained models to the real world.

Your coworkers are there to help you, and not being afraid to ask questions and being able to recognizing my strengths and weaknesses helped me solidify my understanding in so many other areas besides just programming.
