I liked all of the many opportunities to gain valuable experience that I could put on my resume. This included AutoCAD experience-which I didn't have before-as well as manufacturing work and product design. I also liked the schedule flexibility.

Advice
Don't be afraid to take on new challenges. Even if you start the project with no idea of what to do, you will have help, and going through the process will give you something to add to your resume.

What I liked
The hand-on experience I gained. It started off as just something I needed to complete in order to graduate, but quickly realized how beneficial the whole process was.
What I wish was different
At the time the company didn't have a program manager, but as soon as one was hired, the process of getting projects in and out of the door became much more efficient and everyone knew what was needed from them and when certain things were due.
Advice
Don't be afraid to take on complicated work, step out of your comfort zone, and don't be afraid to ask questions!
