I liked the opportunity to apply my education coursework through helping a first grader navigate his e-learning schoolwork. It was informative for me to see how teachers were handling the pandemic and virtual learning, and to help a local family during this time.

I wish I had met them earlier and stayed longer! I miss the kiddos so much.
Advice
If you can find a family that adheres to COVID safety and guidelines, I recommend babysitting! It allowed me to work on interpersonal skills, gain more experience with children, and it helps the parents a lot!
