What I liked

I loved working with the kids, teaching them deeper understandings of singing, acting, and dancing. I also enjoyed getting experience with basic sound equipment.

What I wish was different

I could have had a better attitude at times.

Advice

Be willing to learn and try something new, even if your do not agree with why you are asked to do it. Sometimes, you are right, and it does not help, but most of the time, it helps to take constructive criticism.

What I liked

I liked having the opportunity to teach younger kids about acting and singing. I loved the songs and dances we did for the show we put in each week.

What I wish was different

It would have been nice to have gotten paid based on time instead of just a set pay per week. We worked more than what we got paid. There were a couple weeks when we worked about 30 hours and then the next week we would work for over 40 hours, yet we got paid the same amount.

Advice

Get excited about the show and let the kids see your excitement so they get just as excited. Also, be ready to answer any question that comes along, whether you know the answer or not. You can tell them you don't know the answer.

What I liked

I loved working with all of the kids . It taught me a lot and I learned that I can teach successfully.

What I wish was different

I wish the pay had been a little more. Some of the days were very long and tiring, but we got paid the same amount every week despite working more or less.

Advice

Get plenty of sleep and be excited. The kids look to you and if you are excited, so are they.
