What I liked
I loved working here as a CEO Fellow for my second-year practicum placement. Everyone was so excited to get to know me and support me, and I felt that everyone was genuinely invested in my professional growth, as well as who I am as a person. I consistently felt valued and encouraged. I learned so much from this role, being given the opportunity to witness the operations of an agency -- board meetings, donor events, data collection, etc. -- and I was even able to propose and complete an agency-wide inclusion project that I was very passionate about. I actually liked it so much that I accepted a post-graduation job at FamilyForward to work as a Programs Manager!
