What I liked

FastTek Global has a phenomenal workplace environment filled with support, charisma, and dedicated individuals. As an Intern, I felt I had many opportunities to learn from some of the top workers in the company and gain an overall better understanding of different marketing and sales strategies. I appreciate the smaller office environment of the company, as I felt I was able to develop stronger relationships with the team members than other places of work typically provide for their interns. Additionally, several of the projects the Interns worked on provided both educational opportunities as well as personal and professional advice that I will take with me for years to come. Overall I had a great experience working for FastTek Global and would recommend to a friend.

What I wish was different

In the initial stages of working for FastTek Global, I wish more specific and detailed information had been provided to the interns in terms of the industry as well as the company. I believe I would have benefitted from greater knowledge of the organization as it would have allowed me to complete tasks and projects more effectively and efficiently.

Advice

I would suggest reaching out to your team members in the initial stages to develop a relationship with them, especially your supervisors. It is important to maximize your opportunity at a workplace, especially as an Intern, and setting aside the time and effort to form these connections will benefit you as a student and worker in the long run.

What I liked

Every team member, management included, are there and want to help. If anything was needed or I ever had any questions, numerous people were available and willing to help. Working with helpful and friendly people everyday can and did increase my overall enjoyment of the experience.

What I wish was different

Early on in the process, more could have been communicated in terms of what was going to be expected during the time I was working for them. As time passed, more information was shared but I wished it would have been expressed up front in more detail.
