A very small group that is welcoming and cooperative. Very good training is provided.

Someone who is also working as the same position as I am: I am the only intern in the deparment so that sometimes workload is imbalanced.
Advice
Take notes carefully and be prepared with familiarity with data systems even if you're not good with IT. Customer information is important as well as their satisfaction.

The hours were pretty manageable. The work was physical but you had access to plenty of water and rest.
What I wish was different
I wish shifts were more like 5pm- 10pm rather than 11pm-4 am. Getting off that late really affected my sleep

Ask your manager about opportunities they offer. Nobody will look for you, you have to take the initiative.

I wish that the hours were a set schedule rather than a floating start and end time, it makes it hard to plan my day, especially with college classes and other plans
Advice
I think this is a great company for those who are looking to work somewhere for an extended period of time and be able to advance further in higher positions within the corporation itself. Since FedEx only hires from within, it is important to do your best at lower level positions in order to be offered or considered for promotions.
