Being able to work on a team that really cared about the region and invested their time in helping me learn more about the work of democracy and good governance promotion.
What I wish was different
I wish the experience had been in-person and I would have liked more opportunities to do writing as part of the internship.

Make sure you have a high level of fluency in Spanish before applying.
