Since 1872, GBCH&FM has served children and families throughout Georgia to provide a safe haven and give them a place to call home. Our residents often come to us from places of neglect, abuse, and abandonment, but we have the opportunity to care for them and show them they are valued and loved.
Our youth and families receive personalized care that is unique to their needs so we can work towards long-term resolutions with them. These plans, paired with daily activities, enrichment programs, and additional services, help ensure each client is on a path for success. Our agency is also certified in using the Sanctuary Model of Care, taking a trauma-informed approach with our residents to manage loss, promote healing, and create a hopeful future.
