It was a relaxed environment with plenty of hours and work. I loved getting to know the patrons across 6 pools, with some being places I'd love to return to.
What I wish was different
I wish the communication between the Office and its employees was better. There were times when I would request off/ decline a shift but would called about it by several different people about picking it up. The disconnect between us was extremely apparent, and frustrating
Advice
Be prepared to be bombarded by calls from the office about picking up shifts. Hastings would hire guards in areas that needed less, and would not hire enough guards in areas of need.
