It was such an amazing and rewarding experience. Getting to work with so many individuals with disabilities in a summer camp setting that was meant for them and allowed them to be free and do what made them happy was so rewarding to be apart of. The management and my coworkers were great because everyone wanted to be there and give their camper the best experience possible.
What I wish was different
I wish the camp had gone a couple of weeks longer because it went by so fast.
Advice
Make sure you really want to do this job. It is a lot of work and can be exhausting, but if you want to be there, it's an amazing experience.
