Definitely be aware that this is heavy in customer service, and people will get very angry if they are in pain and need to see the doctor ASAP.

What I liked
It was really awesome getting able to be with orthopedic surgeons all day. I roomed patients but in the meantime I hung out with surgeons and got to learn about what they do on a daily basis and all about what lies ahead for my future

I wish that I had started working to gain experience beforehand to have better pay/job title.
Advice
Apply for externships here. Many of the people get hired in and it makes it feel worth it.
