What I liked

I love making smoothies. It was a lot of work but the customers were really great. I had a lot of regular customers who I would talk to and get to know. My customers made work really enjoyable. I also so a bunch of celebrities all the time so that made work interesting. I loved when work would get busy and I was making smoothies like crazy. I enjoy working in fast pace environments that demand a lot of me.

What I wish was different

I had two jobs over the summer. Jamba juice was really easy compared to my other job. I wish I had been able to work jamba juice full time instead of working two part time jobs. I would have been able to work less and spend more time with my family and pick up my little brother from summer school.

Advice

Work hard and make friends to make the time pass. Find a job you honestly enjoy doing instead of suffering through. Know your limit: if work is pushing you too hard and makes you super stressed, find another job that doesn't drive you crazy. Like I said, I had another job over the summer besides jamba juice and it drove me absolutely crazy.

What I liked

My coworkers definitely made my experience as a manager very rewarding. My general managers guided my growth. Overall, the people make the job fun and a learning experience.
