I liked the new experience of working in a school setting. I also was able to meet a lot of people through this job experience that have given me good advice for my future.
What I wish was different
I wish that the schedules would have been more organized. It was the first year with new people organizing summer school at Jefferson Elementary.
Advice
I would say if you are interested in this position, you have to be open minded and willing to assist individuals with special needs. Each individual had a different BIP and each child required their own personal aide along with assistance from the teacher every day.
