What I liked

Coming into JobGet, I quickly realized how unique working with this team would be. I have gained an immense amount of knowledge and worked on numerous projects in just 6 months. Looking back, I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been given these opportunities elsewhere. Without a doubt, there is room to grow within the company. JobGet is a space where everyone is able to feel at ease, contribute ideas, and can see the impact that they make on the community. It is clear that all the co-founders care about the team as more than just employees, which I have attributed to such a strong team bond. I am consistently awed by the energy and passion that everyone in the team brings. While everyone has distinctive views on how to grow JobGet, there is a clear thread of proactiveness within the team. Tony, specifically, has always carved out time to help me further develop my skills and is continuously enthusiastic about including me on various projects. I feel that Tony cares about everyone on a very personal level, making him very approachable when giving feedback or trying out new avenues for growth. I truly have appreciated being able to develop new skills under his guidance. JobGet is an amazing platform that I have full faith in. Working here is a one of a kind experience that you don’t want to miss out on!

What I wish was different

The only drawback I see for those interested in joining JobGet is that the company itself, given that it is relatively new, has a lot of flexibility. That in turn requires for its employees to be especially proactive and creative in exploring new avenues. However, since my internship ended, I think they have created more defined roles!

Advice

Go in with an open mind! There's a lot of room for growth and finding what you like the most within JobGet.

What I liked

-Dedicated people with strong work ethics At JobGet, we believe in our meaningful mission, which is helping people find jobs in the fastest way. Every employee has that in mind and puts 110% into work, aiming to achieve something great together. -Genuine and heart-warming team If you think industrious is the only trait of the JobGet team, you're wrong. We are sincere people who support each other, not only professionally but personally as well. All three co-founders are really easy to get along with and determined to build a caring environment for employees. -Autonomy and flexibility One of the perks of working in startup space is that no hierarchy or pressure from above will intimidate you from being who you are. Everyone has the autonomy to do the work based on his/her schedule and is held accountable for the results. Creativity is also highly encouraged in a judgment-free zone! I would like to thank all the co-founders for giving me the opportunity to work and contribute to JobGet.

What I liked

Working at JobGet has been, by far, the most memorable experience of my entire life. The entire JobGet team always goes above and beyond every task and is willing to support everyone in their individual goals. At JobGet, you have the autonomy to create your own schedule/goals and figure out how you want to achieve your goals. The best part of the internship is that you get to see first-hand the impact your actions make on the company. In addition, the founders are by far the most amazing people I have ever met. I did not work hard because I thought I was going to get fired. I worked hard because I know that the founders have put their hearts and souls into JobGet and believe in the product.
