What I liked

Great management and mentorship! I was able to shadow several Neurologists and had great patient interaction.

What I wish was different

I wish I had a longer time with them

Advice

Ask a lot of questions, Physicians like to see you engaged. Have a notebook with you and be ready to write down everything you think is interesting/ you didn't know before.

Researcher

May 2017 • Baltimore, MD

What I liked

The intimacy of the lab research group; I got to work with my PI and the other post-doctoral fellow very closely so I learned a great deal.

What I wish was different

I just wish I had the opportunity to talk more and develop more leadership skills with larger groups.

Advice

Keep working and pushing; it's important to learn things independently and to always think on the fly.
