What I liked

Each was something different. I had the same clients but never knew what mood or what we would be doing. It was fun and very eye- opening.

What I wish was different

As I enjoy being flexible, having a bit more stability. There would be times I would get calls 20 minutes before a shift asking if I could change plans and pick them up from a different location, or sub for a different individual. Flexibility was huge, but it would have been nice to have a bit more of a schedule.

Advice

Individuals with disabilities can do everything that a normal neurological person can do, just with there own interpretation and outlook. Having a open mind, and patience will take you places with this job.
