What I liked
The staff was professional and friendly, they encouraged interns to get involved and learn. It was an incredible experience to see how such a big station is ran, and to make connections I still have to this day!
What I wish was different
I would have liked to have more hands-on learning during my experience. Since it was such a big station it was mostly observation.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask the reporters to tag along on news assignments, they are eager to share their knowledge with the next generations news reporters!

What I liked
I liked getting to experience the everyday lifestyle of a newsroom setting and being able to see what daily life would kind of be like. I got many different experiences that you can only get by getting out there and being in the real world.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been closer to Little Rock so that I would have been able to experience all different times and shifts of the news world.
Advice
I would say to be willing to do anything. Put yourself out there and ask questions. You will never know if you don't ask questions. Also don't say no to anything. Be willing to participate in anything and everything that they may ask you to do because it can open up doors for you.
