“I really enjoyed being able to meet other students a lot faster while working as well as make some friends with the other student employees who are my coworkers. They were really helpful in learning information about different majors, how they view Kendall, where they go to eat, etc. Even small things like that are really beneficial when having a student employee job because even though I am from Southwest Michigan, I have never lived or been super familiar with navigating downtown. I learned my way through riding public transport, applying to colleges, and many other things and it was awesome that I am able to pass that onto other students as well.”
