What I liked
I loved having the opportunity to interact with and impact the incoming class of first-year students. It was so much fun to get to meet their families as well, and let them know that their student would be in good hands.
What I wish was different
The training was intense, but for a good reason. We needed to be fully prepared for what we were getting into. Sometime training time would extend into the evening time that was meant for down-time in my mind, but again, all for good reason.
Advice
Be prepared for long days, and constant activities, and bonding with your coworkers is crucial to a well-functioning team.

Graphic Design Intern
May - August 2018 • Kent, OH
What I liked
One of the challenges of taking on this internship was learning the Kent State University brand in a matter of a couple months. Learning and adapting your work around a new brand can be very difficult, but it was a great experience for me and I'm thankful I can take this skill with me into my future .
