Facilities Engineering Intern

What I liked

I liked how I was able to jump right in and was given tasks and projects to work on, on my very first day. I also loved how open and welcoming the work group was. I never felt like I was treated as an intern who knew nothing, but everyone was also very willing to help when I sought it. At times I was actually looked to as the "area expert" on certain topics.

What I wish was different

If i had wanted anything to be different, it would have been work environment. While I loved the work, the office itself wasn't overly welcoming. I was supplied with all the tools I needed, I did not feel the office was the most inviting.

Advice

I was able to make my internship whatever I wanted it to be. I came in with the scope of being a CAD intern, but I was able to take on some project management. This internship can be what you make it.

My internship was challenging and I learned something new everyday. Participated on many impactful project to the business.

Nothing! I would highly recommend this Internship to anyone who is looking for a challenge and is willing to think critically and try new things..

Don't be afraid to try something new. You are there to learn, and everyone is willing to help you and answer questions.

I was provided numerous opportunities to learn and expand on what I had been taught in school and gain valuable real world experience.

I loved everything about this internship.

Always look to push yourself and don't be afraid to tackle extra responsibilities early on and show adversity and determination.
