What I liked

As a future lawyer, I enjoyed every aspect of this job. It was so insightful to collaborate with attorneys and assist them with tasks such as filing, preparing RFQs, and digesting depositions.

What I wish was different

I wish I took the initiative to attend more hearing and depositions with the attorneys in order to gain more insight on what I would have to do in my future career as a lawyer.

Advice

Be prepared to learn a lot about the law field, including lots of reading and writing. I learned something new everyday and thorough enjoy my job!

If you are interested in law, look for small firms they would teach you the ropes instead of going thru the paralegal certification

Advice

It’s super important to be 100 percent accurate all of the time. This means you might have to check your work more than once to get it exactly right. And it’s always better to ask if you’re not sure than guess and get it wrong.
