I liked how communicative my team was and how much I learned. I was really able to strengthen my Python coding skills and learned a bit about HTML and CSS coding. I worked on a team with chemical engineers so we were able to collaborate and teach one another about our respective fields in order to create a project that we are very proud of.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to work with my team rather than being in person and be able to see more project presentations from other Mountaintop Research groups. That being said, everyone did a great job transitioning to the virtual environment and was very adaptable.
Advice
You should be prepared to be flexible. When working on a research project things won't always go exactly as planned so make sure that you know that it is ok if you need to change the course of your project or have to take additional steps you hadn't previously planned on.
