I really enjoyed getting to know the students and helping them during their first-year of college. I was able to plan events and workshops for the students where we were able to build stronger relationships with one another and learn tips to navigating college.
What I wish was different
I really enjoyed it, and I don't think there is anything that I would change about it.
Advice
It's important to manage your time well and make sure that you are on top of things. Working with students, you need to be flexible with your time and sometimes that means having to drop whatever project you're working on and help them with something. It's all worth it though!
