LexArts is greater Lexington's premier cultural development, advocacy and fundraising organization. LexArts promotes high quality arts experiences for the benefit of all the people of central Kentucky through funding, advocacy, technical assistance, communication and programming initiatives. As both the area arts council and united arts fund, LexArts provides a wide range of programs and services designed to integrate the arts into our daily lives including LexArts Gallery Hop, Lexington Youth Arts Council, ArtScope: This Week in the Arts email calendar. LexArts operates ArtsPlace which offers rehearsal, presentation space and office space for nonprofit arts organizations. ArtsPlace is also home to ArtsPlace Gallery, one of Lexington's premier visual art galleries dedicated to Kentucky artists.
