What I liked
I loved working on a team in order to help small businesses succeed. I worked at the LiftFund Women's Business Center, which is a group that consults small businesses in the San Antonio, TX area. It was extremely interesting to watch the birth of companies, as well as the growth of these same companies. We were a team of three people: the Director, Business Advisor, and Business Support Intern. I got to experience accountability, consulting, and intense teamwork. I loved the people I worked with and have created connections I will take with me in my career.
