I liked the ability to work independently, and I learned many different skills that I would not have through a desk job. I had the ability to work outside every day which I thoroughly enjoyed.
What I wish was different
The only thing I would have liked is more projects with other people. It gave me a lot of independence to work, but I would often spend 40 hours a week working alone.
Advice
One piece of advice is to be open about new jobs, even if you may think they’re out of your comfort zone, or may not possess the skills. You can always learn new things, and that’s what makes new experiences.
