“In my role at Lutherhaven I was able to take ownership over the programs I was in charge of and bring my creativity and skills to them. I was mentored throughout the process and worked as a part of a team to facilitate all summer camp programming. This was an invaluable experience as I was able to not only coordinate volunteers, staff, and necessary resources, but also felt supported throughout the entire process. The directors at Lutherhaven truly care about their staff and want to help them succeed during the summer and in future endeavors. All staff receive extensive training that prepares them not only for their role during the summer, but for future careers. Through my three summers on staff at Lutherhaven, I have become more professional, self-aware, and effective. Lutherhaven is not only a job, but a loving community that employees become life-long members of.”
