Training and Development Intern

“The exposure to different membership databases and management systems, the opportunity to research ”

Strategic Communications Intern

May 2020 - August 2020 Washington, DC
“I felt like I was significantly helping the organization. At times I got fairly big assignments, including writing official press releases and speeches for NLADA President Jo-Ann Wallace. My two bosses were very friendly and understanding, and I felt very comfortable in the position. Although there was a lot of work, it was never overwhelming or difficult to complete (which is good, since this internship was unpaid).”
