About Office of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse is the junior senator from Rhode Island. Interns will be introduced to the legislative process through a variety of duties, including maintaining correspondence with constituents, conducting policy research, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of my office. Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will also be responsible for hosting tours of the Capitol complex for visiting Rhode Islanders, attending briefings and congressional hearings, and assisting our press office.
