One Heartland is a non-profit camp in Minnesota. Our programs primarily serve youth in the LGBTQ+ community; we also have some programs for youth affected by HIV/AIDS or experiencing housing instability, and LGBTQ+ families.
We have a wide variety of summer job opportunities in areas as varied as cooking, cabin counselors, mental health/social work, lifeguards, housekeeping, health care/nurses, and more, for all majors and experience levels and can often work with students needing internship credit or volunteer hours too.
Our summer staff have a wide variety of backgrounds, skills, and experiences and come to One Heartland from all over the country and even internationally. Working at camp, you’ll be a part of something bigger than yourself while trying new things and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Make lasting connections and impactful change!
