“The best experiences working as an intern during the summer were the department shadowing, lunch-ins with the executive teams of each department and Securities America, and paid series exams. Shadowing each department opened the world of finance. I have now seen each and every aspect of finance including Supervision, Compliance, Securites America Advisors , and so many more. The lunch-ins with the executive teams helped with understanding how to create a pathway to joing any of the departments I had shadowed and how the management side of the deparments works. Lastly, the paid FINRA series exams is a huge plus. Securites America is always open to increase their employees' desire to develope themselves further, which is why they offer to pay for any of the FINRA series exams.”
