Associates were very nice and the hours were flexible. I was working on my own thing at the same time and they were nice enough to let that take over instead of my cashier job.

Some managers were mean, however most of the time it was alright.

Do not work at Panera, I can no longer eat there.

They were very open with my schedule when school started back up. The environment to begin with was very laid back.

The managers changed and they immediately expected us to remember all the changes to the rules they implemented over night.

Take the job seriously. Even though it is a minimum wage job, I gained a lot of work experience and it has taught me how to manage my time and finances.

If you’re going to work in food service just be prepared for the different kinds of people you’ll come into contact with (coworkers, customers, management). It can’t be a stressful environment and people can be critical of you but don’t let it bother you.
