“I loved being able to work hands on with the community and really feel like I was making a difference. I learned so much about legislation in Wisconsin/the midwest regarding reproductive healthcare, as well as how to have productive conversations about equity, human rights, and the controversial issue of abortion access. This summer, of all summers, was a very important summer to be active. I was connected to resources on how to pursue law school education and made some great connections in potential mentors.”
