I loved knowing that I was making a difference in student’s lives by providing support for better behavior management and strive for academic goals for the students. I also love to my coworkers and the support from the staff at my job
What I wish was different
What I wish could have been different is I wish that there would have been better communication amongst teachers and administration with the direct staff on students needs and goals more effectively
Advice
I would say that you definitely have to be a patient, understanding and strong person to do this job. It is not easy working with children who have either aggressive or challenging behaviors. People who do this job definitely need to have tough skin and be able to work through difficult situations for the betterment and well-being of the child
