Summer Camp Counselor

What I liked

I love every single aspect of this job. It is challenging and the most rewarding position I have ever been in. I love kids and I get to teach them how to have good, clean fun for 9 weeks each summer. I love being apart of the staff- they are encouraging, loving and they keep me accountable to my tasks.

What I wish was different

I wish we had healthier options for meals. It's camp food and I have to navigate it as best as I can.

Advice

It is a selfless job- you will learn to put other's needs before your own but it is so very worth it.
