We are a private family working with a consulting therapist looking to hire a full time aide to accompany our daughter for 2nd grade (Sept-June 2019).
Seeking full time aide to accompany 2nd grader to private Cambridge, MA 2nd grade Mon-Fri 8am-3pm for entire school year (Sept-June). Child is very bright, social and outgoing and struggles with transitions and rigidity. Seeking aide to provide a second adult in the room available to step in and help smooth social interactions, transitions and provide support which we hope and believe will improve recent anxiety and behavioral struggles. Aide is sought to help child integrate better with the classroom, not for one-on-one work all day. Aide would be overseen by and supported by a very experienced consultant and psychotherapist who also works one-on-one with the child and helps communicate with parents.
Pay is competitive and includes healthcare benefits as needed. Background in behavioral health, ASD, executive functioning, etc. preferred.
