Project Transformation Indiana

About Project Transformation Indiana

Our mission is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. Project Transformation’s collaborative model of ministry harnesses the creative energy and leadership of young adults working in an intentional Christian community to lead summer programs for children in under-resourced neighborhoods. These programs are hosted in local churches, helping those churches connect with their neighbors. Each week, interns meet with community leaders to explore various vocations and spend time discerning their call to service. Many churches and organizations throughout the Indianapolis area partner together to support this work.

Intern

June 2018 - August 2018 Indianapolis, IN
“This organization's development of college-age interns and encouragement of holistic development in literacy and play for youth is truly fantastic. They really push reflection and growth to create the best possible experience for empowering both counselors and youth, ultimately giving the youth a safe and fun summer. Great program if you want to try something new and do some direct service. Paid stipend, plus housing and most of the meals are provided.”
